I did my Totowa, NJ drive today for the first time in months, and the first time ever in the S2000. I had forgotten how wonderful the roads were! More to the point, the S is more capable on the tight twisties and wild camber changes than the Jetta.
I also forgot how miserable the afternoon traffic is in Paterson right by the waterfall, what with all the schools letting out. It did give the S an opportunity to get some attention from the high schoolers.

This is the kind of route I’d want to drive on a very early summer morning during the weekend - around sunrise, where it’s light enough where you won’t need your lights but early enough that no one’s on the road. Empty city streets can be great fun at the right times.
